Trajectory map of today’s science mission

Trajectory of today’s science mission over the Foundation Ice Stream (yellow line). The previous mission along the centerline of the Foundation Ice Stream is shown in redplotted over the MODIS Image Mosaic of Antarctica (MOA). Locations of subglacial lakes (white outlines) have been provided by Ben Smith, APL of University of Washington. Colors in basemap indicate ice surface velocity with warmer colors for faster velocities.
