Sea ice lead near Zachariae Glacier

A fresh lead in the sea ice off Zachariae Glacier.  This single image shows several notable sea ice features, including the open water in the lead itself, the older, thicker snow-covered ice floes surrounding it, very young and thin (almost transparent) ice attached to the older ice floes at several places, and even some finger rafting in the young ice at left center of the image.  Some grease ice may also be present in the lead.
