File Type 2 - UP{date}.ea1 UV-VIS data are collected using a 1024-element photodiode, array spectrophotometer. Using order separating filters, measurements are made in the near UV (300 - 375 nm) and in the visible (375 - 775 nm). Blended spectra (300 - 800 nm) are used to calculate the band integrals and J-values. The spectral resoluton is appodized to about 1 nm. Ozone values are calculated using of two methods: either the Brewer 4-wavelength log/ratio technique (similar in principle to the Dobson AD or CD measurements) or a full spectral fitting calculation. The ozone data in this file were analyzed using the Brewer method. The ozone data in this file were not analyzed using the spectral fitting method. Note regarding units: when the reported data are multiplied by the indicated scaling factors the resulting data are in the following units. 1. for the albedo in the bands reported the quantities are in [percent] 2. J-values are in inverse seconds 3. Column ozone is in Dobson Units. 4. The solar angles are in degrees.
