OH Reactivity signals from individual 20 or 30 second scans have been averaged together for 60 seconds. - This averaging is needed because quenching in humid air at low altitudes decreased the signal significantly; - summing the signal over 60 seconds overcomes this statistical hurdle. - Increasing the summation time to 120 seconds gave the same OH Reactivity as the 60-second average to within 10%. - In ATom4, ~40% of the data were affected by contamination of the sampled air, which changed the OHR zero.
