OTHER_COMMENTS: Final Data. OH Reactivity signals from individual 20 or 30 second scans have been averaged together for 60 seconds.
- This averaging is needed because quenching in air humidity at low altitudes decreased the signal significantly;
- summing the signal over 60 seconds overcame this statistical hurdle.
- Increasing the summation time to 120 seconds gave the same OH Reactivity as the 60-second average to within 10%.
